We want to thank everyone for your participation in the Snead Adoption Auction. Thanks to the auction and your support, we have been able to raise over $3000 towards our adoption expenses, immeasurably more than we could have ever asked or imagined! Because there was so much participation, it is going to take us a couple of days to email each of you individually to confirm your purchases and shipping addresses.

A few last items of business. Please read everything as something may pertain to you.

1) We are able to get more pearls donated. There was a lot of interest in the solitaire pearl necklaces and earrings. If you bid on something, but were outbid and would still like a necklace or earrings (or if you simply want to order more than you already have), please email to let us know. In order to be fair to those who have bid, we will set a minimum donation for these items based on the minimum winning bid prices.

1) Solitaire pearl necklaces--$25 each, specify color
2) Pearl Earrings (as pictured in auction)--$30, specify color
3) NEW ITEM -- We are also able to get stud pearl earrings (as pictured in the sets)--$15, specify color
4) If there are any other pearl items that interest you (full strands in any length, color, or quality) please email and we can talk about the options. Price will depend on quality as I may have to purchase the strands.

If you would like to add any of these items in any quantity to your order, please email by Thursday at noon EST to let me know. I will be going on Friday morning (China time) to order the additional items so that we can get them before heading to the US next week.

2) If you bid on a Christmas ornament but were outbid, I am able to get similar ornaments for a minimum donation of $15. For example, if you wanted a panda ornament, I can get another panda ornament, but because each one is hand painted, no two are identical. I will get the next closest ornament to the ones pictured in the auction. Again, I must know by Thursday at noon EST.

3) Lastly, if you are interested in any items that have not been bid on, please email with a donation price. All remaining items are first come first serve, no minimum donation, no bidding required. As some of you may email while we are asleep, we will "sell" these based on the order in which we receive your emails.

Again, than you so much for participating! We will be in touch with each of you very soon.

Blessings,
Matt and Michelle

FAQ's

How do I place a bid?

All you need to do is leave a comment anywhere on this site or send an email to sneadadoptionauction@gmail.com. Tell us which item you are bidding on (preferably using the item number) and we'll update the site with the most current bid.

How much do I bid?

Almost every single item on this page has been donated. Whether your bid is $5, $50, or $500, the total of your purchase goes directly towards our adoption expenses. Your bid is a way to help us cover some of our adoption expenses while getting something nice in return.

How long will the items be available?

That really depends on the item. For example, if someone bids $150 on a hair bow, it's obvious that the $150 is not for the bow but for our adoption. We'll post the highest bid on that item for a couple of days and then remove it if no one bids higher. Fair? Maybe not, but this isn't eBay. It's to help with adoption expenses. :-) If someone bids $150 on the leather bag, we'll wait it out until the end of the auction. We plan to leave the items up through NOVEMBER 30 with all items that have been bid on going to the highest bidder. If anything is left, we'll keep it on the site for the first bidder until everything is gone.

Any other questions?
